Video Project

Here is my video project. For my project, I took a video that explores the concepts of static charge. I would use this video to either introduce the concepts to the students or use it as a follow up activity for students to do at home. One of the advantages of using the video format is that it allows me to do close up of the tape pieces which would be very hard to do in a classroom setting.

  1. Nice job, Chris. I actually really liked the dramatic music. I think it added a nice effect. One thing that might make it a little easier for students to follow along with, though, is to have the video narrated in addition to the subtitles. That way, if students look down to write a note, they won't be missing anything because they can still hear what's going on.

  2. I too liked the dramatic music. I think you're right about being able to show close up video as being an advantage!

  3. GOOD movie! The music, pacing, editing, and subtitles all kept me engaged. Loved the music. The sound effect when you pulled the tape apart was priceless. The only thing I can think to change is to add explanation about the charging of the tape - that when you split it apart, it gets charge. Awesome movie.
